Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Production Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the production process, including assembling, operating machinery, and maintaining the quality standards of finished products. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly: Assemble products or components according to specified instructions or production schedules.
  • Machine Operation: Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing process. Ensure all machines are working properly and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products during and after assembly to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify defects or deviations and report them for correction.
  • Packaging: Package finished products as per customer or company requirements, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Adhere to workplace safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with the management of materials and supplies, including stocking and maintaining inventory levels for production.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure production goals are met and that workflow is efficient.

Qualifications:

Fulfillment Manager - Milford, CT

Fulfillment Manager

Location: Milford, CT

Reports to: CEO and COO

Job Summary:

Full time on-site position for an experienced leader to actively manage the entire order fulfillment cycle from receiving and processing to picking, packing, and final delivery to e-commerce, retail, international, and distribution customers. Lead fulfillment teams and personnel, manage inventory levels and product storage, and optimize systems, processes, and procedures to ensure customer orders are shipped quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively.  Oversees the entire order fulfillment cycle, from receiving and processing to picking, packing, and final delivery.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dedicated fulfillment professional with 3-5 years of management expertise to manage and oversee full-spectrum fulfillment operations including shipment of finished goods to e-Commerce, LTL/FTL, retail, distribution, and international customers. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Omnichannel Operations: Direct daily picking, packing, and shipping workflows across B2C e-commerce, B2B wholesale, retail, and international shipping and fulfillment lines.
  • Systems Administration: Serve as the warehouse lead for NetSuite ERP and RF-Smart WMS, optimizing system configurations and training staff on mobile scanning workflows.  Audit performance and adjust processes as required for continual improvement.
  • Inventory & Material Control: Manage finished goods, packouts, and bulk inventory using RF-Smart to perform cycle counts, full warehouse counts and bin management (as required).  Maintain adequate stocks of packaging materials and consumables to support high tempo operations.
  • Manufacturing Support: Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely receipt and accurate tracking of finished goods assemblies within NetSuite.  Coordinate with the manufacturing team to support surge operations with personnel as required.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and mentor warehouse personnel, creating a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and report on operational KPIs, including order cycle time, picking accuracy, shipping timeliness/costs, and inventory variance.  Track and report on all relevant metrics to executive leadership and identify any disparities or issues that impede meeting established performance metrics.
  • Vendor & Carrier Relations: Manage relationships with shipping carriers and 3PL partners to ensure strict adherence to retail compliance and shipping Service Level Agreements.

  • Annual and Semi-Annual Performance-based Bonuses possible commensurate with financial goals.

 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job supervises four fulfillment teams of 3-5 employees per team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience required
  • Forklift operator’s license
  • Spanish speaker preferred

  • Order Picking: Accurately pick items from inventory based on customer orders. Ensure that the correct quantity, quality, and product are selected as per order specifications.
