Cómo utilizarlo Boost Oxygen

When people first discover Boost Oxygen pure oxygen canisters, they usually have several questions about the product. One common question is: How Do I Use Boost Oxygen? In this blog, we explain how easy it is to use our oxygen canisters, as well as answer some other common questions about using Boost Oxygen.

How To Use Portable Oxygen

Follow these simple steps

  4. Repeat 3-5 times or as desired.

How long does a can last and how do I know when it is empty?

Boost Oxygen canisters remain pressurized and have a shelf life for up to 5 years. If your looking for information on the different size cans and how many inhalations are in each can, our 3-Liter Pocket Size canisters contain over 3 liters of Oxygen. This equates to approximately 60 one-second inhalations. Our Pocket Size canisters are perfect for a quick trip to the store or lunch with friends. Our Medium and Large canisters hold more Oxygen and are better suited for daily and weekly home use. Medium Boost Oxygen canisters contain 5 liters of Oxygen, which is up to 100 one-second inhalations. Large Boost Oxygen canisters contain 10 liters of Oxygen, which equates to over 200 seconds of continuous oxygen flow, or over 200 one-second inhalations. There is a handy size guide in the article “What is the Right Boost Oxygen Cannister for me?” that also contains additional information on different use cases.

Customer often ask us how to know when a can is empty? Boost Oxygen is pressure filled only into the can (sort of like a tire). No aerosols or propellants are used. When you use the canister, you can hear and feel the Oxygen stream. As the can depletes, the pressure of the oxygen flow from the canister will also deplete. As long you can hear or feel oxygen coming out, your are still getting pure oxygen and your canister is not empty. When the oxygen no longer flows (and you can no longer hear or feel it), the canister is empty.

Does Boost Oxygen have any side effects?

There are no side effects to Boost Oxygen. Oxygen is completely safe and natural. For more information, check out our article “Can Too Much Supplemental Oxygen Have Side Effects?”

Is Boost Oxygen like an Energy Drink or Coffee?

We’ve all seen the energy drinks at the gas station or grocery store, in so many varieties and flavors, which promise a quick fix for your drowsiness. What they contain is caffeine, sugars, carbs and calories that can be harmful to your health or cause you to crash after their effects expire – forcing you to drink even more to avoid that crash. The same can be said of the effect of coffee on your body. Boost Oxygen has no caffeine, sugar, carbs or calories. There is no sugar crash with Boost Oxygen. Supplemental oxygen is completely natural and more relaxing and restorative than energy drinks or coffee. Breathing Boost Oxygen can help improve cognitive performance, memory and reaction time and also makes you feel more alert and energetic.

Using Boost Oxygen is not the same as taking caffeine. Some people who take caffeine report getting a “jolt” as it effects their system. Boost Oxygen has many different uses but those expecting a caffeine type experience might be disappointed. For more information, check out our article “Supplemental Oxygen vs. Energy Drinks”
