Boost Oxygen se joint au combat pour trouver un remède à la mucoviscidose
Boost Oxygen is happy to announce that we are joining the fight to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis by supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Cystic Fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that causes long-lasting lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. More than 30,000 children and adults in the United States have CF (70,000 worldwide) and CF affects people of every racial and ethnic group.
Boost Oxygen is supporting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation with an annual donation, as well as sponsoring their national “Great Strides” events. Each year, approximately 125,000 people participate in nearly 300 walks across the country to support the Foundation’s mission to cure Cystic Fibrosis and raise awareness. Boost Oxygen is an official sponsor of the May 15 Great Strides event taking place in West Haven, Connecticut.
Everyone at Boost Oxygen is proud to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Our involvement is especially personal, as the daughter of our company CFO Rob Van Malderghem has CF. Rob and his wife Jennifer have supported the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and their events for years as they hope to one day find a cure for their daughter Natalie and everyone living with CF. At our core, Boost Oxygen’s goal is to help improve respiratory health. While our supplemental oxygen product is not intended to treat or cure any illness like Cystic Fibrosis, we believe strongly in helping the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and their mission to help people effected by the disease.
